Its sad to think just because he spent an extra hour somewhere, or was offered a "life time" contract, that its Game Over, welcome to Tennessee Mr. Manning. I think it was made very clear that Peyton wants one thing, another championship. I didn't read anywhere that he wants a front office job, I would think that is something he would want AFTER his playing days.
After reading a few comments stating "Denver has nothing to offer", I as a Bronco fan obviously and completely disagree. We have Ryan Clady, one of, if not the best LT in the game protecting the most important spot for a QB...their blind spot. Couple that with the fact that Peyton knew our offense was pedestrian and still we had the #1 rushing squad. Chris Johnson is a beast, I will admit that, but he just came off the worst year of his career statistic wise and who's fault is it? His or the o-line? Manning can sure, pick apart some of the poor pass defending teams, but when he needs the running game, and the titans online cant trench themselves in...its all downhill from there. We have a up and coming o-line that can be upgraded at center with Peyton's pal Jeff Saturday. Again, Denver proved they have a rushing attack by being the #1 rushing TEAM. I feel its better to have a TEAM being #1 in something than just one person, cause when that one person cant pull their weight, who will?
Now for the people that will cry because Tebow made the team run heavy, fine your right, but the RB market is in shambles, and there are a few quality backs like Mike Tolbert or Micheal Bush that can just come right in and make the running game just that much better. One important aspect is that Denver has an above average receiver corp with Demaryius Thomas and Eric Decker, as both men have shown flashes of brilliance when they did get the ball. Denver can add upon that and give him another target in Dallas Clark.
Our Defense has the NFL rookie of the year, the 2009 NFL sack leader, not to mention Champ Bailey, and Brian Dawkins (he WILL resign if Manning chooses Denver for the simple fact we will contend for a SB) Didn't the Titans just take a huge blow by losing Cortland Finnegan?
So my point is that if Manning wanted all of these "life after football" extras he would have just retired, and moved to Tennessee. I think its a cheap shot for the Titans to be offering him this, and no not because the Broncos didn't do it, but rather put him in a situation where you promise him front office stuff, but no SB ring. Mark my words, if Peyton Manning signs with the Titans, you can expect to see him sitting in his own personal executive suite after he retires, but you will never see him on the front cover of the post Superbowl newspaper.

But, I think if nothing else Peyton will be a Head Coach instead of Front office personnell the dude is a genius and I believe when he does retire and picks up a clipboard whatever team he coach's can be prepared to win tons of Super Bowls.
